AUTHORIZED COURT TRANSCRIPT ONTARIO

STANDARD TRANSCRIPTS

 

A standard transcript (to transcribe all or part of a recording and produce a first certified copy of a transcript); includes, but is not limited to, 1st Appearance dates, motions, Assignment Court dates, pleas and trials.  Maximum timeline for preparation of these transcripts is 30 days unless stated date is requested.  Timeline is negotiable at time of ordering.  The standard provincial rates apply.

 

Transcript for 11B applications will be prepared within the 30 day turnaround timeframe unless otherwise negotiated at time of order.

ESTIMATES

Please let us know, when ordering, if an estimate is required prior to typing.  We will be glad to look at the recording for you and do our best to determine a rough estimate for your transcript.  

 

DEPOSITS

Deposits are required for all transcripts.  Generally a deposit of 75% of the estimated total for the transcript will be required prior to typing. 

APPEAL TRANSCRIPTS

 

Appeal transcripts are divided into two categories:

 

Court of Appeal of Ontario which has a timeframe of 90 days

Divisional Court Appeal for Small Claims appeals or Superior Court Appeal each having a 30 day timeframe

Timeframes are negotiable at time of order.

 

Transcript ordered for the Court of Appeal must be accompanied by the appeal number, and a minimum of 5 copies must be ordered.

No charge for copies.

 

Transcript ordered for appeal to the Divisional Court or Superior Court requires a minimum of three copies.

$4.30 per page

$0.55 per page for copies

 

BAIL REVIEW TRANSCRIPTS - 48 Hours

 

Bail Review transcripts will be prepared within 48 hours of order being accepted.

 At least a 75% cash deposit is required.

 

As bail reviews fall outside of other transcript designations, pricing will be as follows:

 

$6.00 per page (original)

$0.55 per page (copies)

 

EXPEDITE SERVICE - 5 Business Days

 

We offer an expedited service to transcribe all or part of a recording and produce a first certified copy of a transcript, to be provided within FIVE business days.

 

$6.00 per page or $20.00, whichever is greater

 $0.55 per page for copies

 

Please put your request in writing and submit it for review.  We will answer your query within 1 business day as to whether or not we can meet your request.

 

Prices on this service are firm.

All requests for expedited transcript will be prepared within 5 days of receipt of deposit unless otherwise negotiated.

This request is limited to no more than 200 pages.

 

RUSH - 24 HOURS

 

To transcribe all or part of a recording and produce a first certified copy of a transcript, to be provided within 24 hours

 

$8.00 per page or $20.00, whichever is greater

$0.55 per page for copies

 

COPIES

For any additional certified copy of the transcript, in printed format

$0.55 per page or $20.00, whichever is greater

 

 

For an electronic copy of the transcript requested at the same time as the original order.

No charge.

 

For an electronic copy of the transcript requested at a later date.

                     0 - 19 pages  $1.75

20 - 39 pages $2.70

40 - 59 pages $3.65

60 - 89 pages $4.20

90 pages and up $5.75 and up

 

SHIPPING

Please contact your transcriptionist to inquire about shipping charges.   Generally shipping charges that we have incurred will be passed along to the ordering party unless otherwise agreed upon between you and your transcriptionist..   Shipping charges may include, but are not limited to,  charges incurred to access the recording from a courthouse location and charges incurred in shipping the finished transcript to the ordering party. 

 

CANCELLATIONS

Should you, the ordering party, wish to cancel your order, you may do so by written request.  You will also undertake to pay the fees incurred up to receipt of the cancellation request.
